Yoga
Ah, yoga. It is a quintessential healing and strengthening modality for the body. We load the bones with static and dynamic movement. We increase flexibility one simple movement at a time. We strengthen our core with proper alignment and pelvic awareness. We build strength progressively with determination and modifications suited to the body we are living in. We discover the benevolence of props that bring the floor to us and support reluctant joints. We develop the ability to soften our edges and linger in the space between. We breathe into the spaces in and around and up and down. We breathe in what we need, and we exhale what no longer serves us.
